Re-Imagining Childhood took place in the Adelaide Convention Centre from 6 – 8 November 2017.

Re-imagining Childhood – A conference filled with provocations and possibilities. Delegates will have the opportunity to engage with international and local leaders in early childhood researching the Reggio Emilia approach to inspire and inform early childhood policy and practices in their own context.

International Keynote Speakers from the Foundation Reggio Children – Centro Loris Malaguzzi Scientific Committee including, Professor Carla Rinaldi, Professor Peter Moss and Professor Gunilla Dahlberg will

  • Provoke delegates thinking about the culture of childhood.
  • Challenge delegates to make pedagogical, cultural, social and political decisions to uphold the rights of each child.
  • Support delegates to make visible the competent child, the competent teacher and the competent parent.
